Treatment Plan
- Your comfort and safety are of primary importance during DTS Spinal Decompression Therapy. Only if you are completely comfortable will you be able to achieve the ultimate objective of complete rehabilitation of your disc and spine. During DTS Therapy, you will experience several cycles of stretch and relaxation, which gently graduates to a peak over a period of several minutes.
- Each treatment takes about an hour and some patients experience relief immediately while others within a few treatments. It is important to remember however, that pain subsiding does not mean that your disc and spine are healed. It is critical that patients comply with the treatment protocol as prescribed by the specialist in order to achieve maximum benefits.
- The treatment protocol is 20 treatments within a 6 week period of time depending on the individual’s condition. The therapy may include electrical muscle stimulation, cryotherapy, thermotherapy, cold laser before and or after treatment. Your spinal decompression specialist will use these therapeutic modalities when appropriate to accelerate the healing process.
- Although there is no procedure that is 100% successful, DTS spinal decompression therapy has a high success rate with the full compliance on the part of the patient. You will be recommended to refrain from certain activities and that you engage in a rehabilitation program after your therapy. If you adhere to your prescribed therapy, you will enhance your chances of success.
- Drinking at least 1/2 of your body weight in ounces of water per day will facilitate the rehydration process within the disc. Nutritional supplements may also be recommended as part of your healing process.
- We believe DTS Spinal Decompression Therapy to be the most advanced, safe, effective non-surgical and pain free option today. If you or someone you know has been suffering from neck or low back pain. We can help you determine whether this breakthrough treatment is an appropriate option.
